Acorn Coaching and Development

Project Coaching

It is…

Project directors are fully aware of the importance of initiating effective collaborative behaviour on any project but never more so when the performance of the project is dependant upon multiple stakeholders. Acorn has developed a Project Team Coaching process which can be flexibly applied to a range of projects from bid stage to initiation, through to close.

How…

Accelerating project performance through our Project Team Coaching process, created as a result of 15 years' experience of working with large complex projects, involves an Acorn coach working closely with project directors, managers and their senior teams. We deliver both a sequence of predetermined inputs and also offer support to deal with emerging demands.

Why do I need it…

Ongoing dialogue and the use of project specific questionnaires determine the eventual shape and content of each developmental input, taking into account the particular dynamics and needs of each project team.

Successful projects, now more so than ever before, require all key stakeholders to work towards a common project goal. Differences, which there will always be, must be resolved quickly in order to minimise the disruptive impact upon successful delivery of the project plan; issues must be brought to the surface early in order to gain resolution; and not least of all, Senior Project Team members must look sufficiently far ahead versus only fire-fight. Acorn's Project Team Coaching process challenges the performance of these and other areas in order to ensure project success.
