Lancaster - Leaders in Leadership
The centre provides an impressive point of focus for leadership issues
Lancaster University's Management School launched its £ 9.5m leadership Centre to carry out research and develop the leaders of the future. Their work is pioneering new ways of building leadership capability in organisations across the world. The centre provides an impressive point of focus for this work creating a new networking hub for the University and external partners.
Acorn is one external partner. Acorn are currently co-delivering the two day leadership development element of the Management School's LEAD Programme, a cutting edge programme for owner managers of small businesses to drive the development and growth of their business.
Steve Kempster, director of the Lead Programme and Operations Director of the Lancaster Leadership Centre, commented: 'We asked Acorn to partner with us to design an engaging and reflective event that would give delegates the opportunity to draw out their understanding and learning from their experiences through practical leadership scenarios. The partnership has worked well and the two day event wonderfully sets up the programme'
